Children of Crows

Could you imagine finding out as an adult that the people who adopted you actually stole or trafficked you from your real parents? Or imagine discovering that the things you were asked to do by those adoptive parents were not acts of love but acts of abuse, manipulation, and deceit?

This is not just something out of a crime show like “Law & Order.” It is not only happening in the natural world, where adults in their 50s and even 80s are being arrested globally for adopting children with malicious and criminal intent, but this wicked form of adoption is also happening in the spirit.

We are being adopted by seducing spirits that are grooming us and guiding us in wrong decisions, behavior patterns, beliefs, and thinking. But unlike the children who have been adopted beyond their control under false pretenses in the natural, we have the ability in the spirit to reject being adopted or reared by seducing spirits.

To be more specific, our pastor, Chief Apostle Gunn, taught us recently that we are allowing ourselves to be adopted, raised, and brought up by what is called: Seducing Crow Spirits.

Let’s break down what these words mean.

Seducing: beguiling, deceiving, or luring someone away from duty, accepted principles, or proper conduct; leading astray.

Crow: represents manipulation, deceit, and mischief; scavenging or feeding on dead and decaying things.

Spirits: In this instance, “spirits” refers to those described in the Bible as “unclean spirits,” “impure spirits,” “deceiving spirits,” “lying spirits,” and “demonic spirits” that strive to defile, promote evil, and work against God’s will and plan.

These spirits are drawn to us like buzzards whenever we refuse to let the truth of God, the truth of the Word and teaching, and the truth of godly counsel and instruction make us free.

Just like a criminal looks to seduce or kidnap a vulnerable, unsuspecting child, they look for those sending up a spiritual signal that they are vulnerable. They can be deceived and seduced because they have hatred, ignorance, disinterest, and indifference to the truth.

Chief Apostle Gunn said, “The only thing that stops a lie or deception is the truth.” We have allowed "the enemy to capture our choices" because we have not shielded them with the truth.

Chief Apostle Gunn showed us that we must start being real with ourselves and stop ignoring things we know are wrong or overlooking when something is not right; that is choosing deception and seduction. This opens the door for seducing spirits to infiltrate and manipulate us, ultimately severing our connection with our heavenly Father. Remember: God is not the father of lies; he is the father of truth, so when we choose deceit, we reject God as Father.

“Anything with a bend is a crook,” Chief Apostle Gunn said. He encouraged us to look deep inside to see where we are believing or living lies and not the truth because those lies can get into our subconscious, and he said the “subconscious will corrupt your conscious.”

John 8:44: “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning and abode not in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own, for he is a liar and the father of it.”

1 Timothy 4:1-2: “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly that in the latter times, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils; speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.”
