Pray On ... Part 1
Greetings Saints!
It's Apostle Tee and I'm back to share the Word.
"Now unto him that is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all we can ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us." (Ephesians 3:20) I give all glory , honor, and praise to my Father God and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am so glad Jesus saved me! You should be glad too. When was the last time you told God thank you for saving you? If you haven't, you ought to take the time out and tell him thank you.
Before we get into the message, think about the different things that try you after hearing God's word. Sometimes as soon as you get out of church, here comes a phone call from somebody who don't mean you any good, something to make you get angry, an argument, etc. Listen, the world will try to defile your walk with God. This Word has come to help you watch your step. I know you're ready ... so let's get started!!! Message Original Date: January 23, 2017 Messenger: Chief Apostle H.C. Gunn You have to watch when prayer is taken out of your mouth.
Come on saints, listen to me. Prayer is like a river and a lot of us have blocked it up with logs like a beaver building a dam. We expect God to move, but the Holy Ghost ain't coming through that dam. GET SELF OUT OF THE WAY!!!
The person or thing most effective against you is you. The devil will use you to block yourself up.
When God sent word to the saints to "Pray on" this is how he explained it:
Praying on is bringing in all of the mud on your feet from sin, bad decisions, and bad people. Then God takes the water hose of his Word and cleanses your feet. Your feet represent your life and your walk with God.
Praying on is getting clean and staying clean. Sometimes you develop a taste for mud and slop, but you've got to fight it! If you keep fighting you will get free. How much does your freedom mean to you? You can get washed from where you've been, but don't go back to that mess anymore.
We have failed by believing God's Word our way. Don't let the devil steal your prayer because of your muddy feet. Take your sin and leave it in Jesus' hands so he can tell you that you are complete, and that you have been made right through the blood of Jesus Christ -- his righteousness will go with you.
The Lord said, "the way you live right is through knowing that I have already lived right for you. Remember, I carried your sin so you don't have to struggle with it." When you disobey God you are rejecting his best for you, but when you walk with him through obedience you are receiving his best. It's about doing the right thing after you hear the Word of God. Your obedience shows God that you are willing to stay clean. Well, that's all for now. I love you and I'm praying for you!!
