You need wisdom and understanding to live and overcome

I was getting ready to read my Bible, and I asked God what He wanted me to read, and Proverbs 7 came to mind.

I read the chapter, and it was saying that as sons and daughters of God, we need to have wisdom and understanding, but it can only be obtained by keeping God’s word and following his commandments.

In Proverbs 7, a young man was led into temptation by an adulterous woman because he fell for her traps, tricks, and flattery. Why? He was missing wisdom and understanding.

If we use wisdom and understanding, we will see that God has given us everything we need to overcome sin, satan, and our flesh.

To overcome, we must be obedient to what he has told us to do. We can’t stand if we don't get this.

True wisdom and understanding don't come from worldly knowledge or growing up; we need to be saved and have the knowledge of God so we can truly fight against the enemy.

Children, young adults, and the young in Christ, you don’t know or understand without God. Your mind will deceive you!

I encourage you to read that scripture and let it soak in so God can fully explain whatever it is he wants to say to you and what he is calling on you to do.
