What Will You Reap

Pastor Amaya

What you sow is what you reap.

This can mean good things or bad things.

A lot of times we only think of this scripture from the perspective of money or giving, but this scripture applies to every aspect of our lives.

For example, if you study for your test, you can possibly receive a high grade because you made sure to put (sow) study time in. Your actions determine the results.

Our focus needs to be on God. If we live holy and clean, we will reap that in our life. And we will see God move and have his way in our lives because we are giving him room and access to do so. Doing anything for God is not in vain. We don’t always know God’s exact plans but we have to trust and depend on him.

We can sow things into other people as well and it can be a good or bad influence or outcome. It is important to look and see what we are putting into the atmosphere, as they say.

Are we sharing the gospel and being a light for God in how we live, or are we representing satan by our actions and decisions?

How you live your life also has an effect on what you reap. We have to think about how we live every day and how that will impact our lives in the present and the future, as well as how it can impact someone else’s.

We have a choice to make on how we want to live and we have to face the consequences we bring by that choice.
