Hold on to God’s promises

1/6/2026
Many times we forget, overlook, and dwell on our current situation so much that we don’t hold on to the promises God has already declared over us.
In order for God’s promise to come to pass we have to choose to be clean, live right, be holy, and be obedient. (A promise always comes with a commitment.)
We have to have faith and be faithful. Because if God has spoken something over you, it’s up to you if it comes to pass. (He speaks but we must act on it and make room for it.)
In this blog, I’m talking about the blessings God has spoken over and prepared for you. For example, salvation or deliverance. It could be numerous wonderful things, but we have to hold on to it and live right.
God can also warn you about things ahead, but we can make a choice to change our way of living and change our decisions to avoid those things that are heading our way to destroy us.
Hold on to God’s word. God loves us and he has a plan for all of us. God created us and he wanted people to populate the earth and dwell with him. He created a perfect world until sin came in through our choices.
But keeping his promise to love, protect and save us, he still sent his son, Jesus, to die for us and bear all of our sins. Whether we remain free from those sins and accept salvation is up to us.
Jesus, from the time he was in the womb until he died literally carried to world on his shoulders. Imagine a newborn having that great of a responsibility. But he chose to live without sin, from the time he was born till the time he died, to fulfill the promise and Word of God.
God has a plan for you. Serve God and be clean.
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
