Empty no more

While I was praying and talking to God, I thought of this analogy:

If you have a cup with a little hole at the bottom, eventually the water will run out -- but when you have a cup with no holes in it, it holds all of the water."

This was brought up because I was talking to God about how people will continue to be empty. Because they try to fill their lives with other things other than him. I prayed, "God we will never be satisfied without you in our life."

Our flesh will make us think we are well off, happy, satisfied, but our soul knows the truth. God has to be the foundation in your life. God is a solid foundation that will never crack, fail or leave you unsupported, but if we try to build something and we don’t have a solid foundation everything will fall apart.

We need God.

We were made for God.

Our souls long for God, and that is why we feel empty when we don't choose him and live for him.

If we don’t have God, we and our soul are leaking out every day and we will never have a life of full joy, love, and peace, or giving, caring, mercy, gratefulness, hope.

Let go of the things of the world that are draining you, and grab hold of God!
