A Personal God

God is a personal God.

One day I was praying to God and telling him, "It is so amazing how you deal with us as if we are your only children."

For example, how many times has God answered your prayers? Do you know how many other children God has and how many other prayers he answers?

When we are talking to God, he listens to us as if it’s just us and him.

God is so amazing, and we can’t wrap our heads around how big He is. He is so big that He can deal with each of us personally. We ask God what to do, and He gives instructions while dealing with everyone else.

God is always there for us, so why can’t we be there for him?

There is only one of us, and yes, we have families we have to take care of, but that is nothing compared to taking care of the whole world. Next time, think about how much God has to take care of.

I know it can feel like so much is going on in our lives, but take time for God, and put him first in everything. Seek God first, and everything else will be added unto you.

If we don’t put God first, the things in this world will overtake us, but remember how personal God is with us, like we are his only child, so treat Him the same way.

Don’t put him on the back burner or tell him you’ll talk to him later, like he's nothing, because he is the only one we need, and nothing works without him.
